Meet Don Herrmann

Don Herrmann, MBA, MCPC, SHRM-SCP is Founder and President of Herrmann Advantage Consulting, LLC in Appleton, Wisconsin. He has been a senior level executive for a number of companies in multiple industries with both domestic and global responsibilities. Don’s industry experience includes distribution, logistics, retail, financial services, construction, technology, healthcare, manufacturing, aerospace, and defense.

In 2017, he was the recipient of the Joyce Bytof Exceptional Mentor Award presented by the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce. In 2021 he was the recipient of the Inspiring Business Person of the Year Award by the Heart of the Valley Chamber of Commerce. In 2022 he was recognized with the Angel Award by Community Benefit Tree, a 501(c)(3), for his work in helping them provide services to those experiencing financial difficulties because of medical crises.

He served in the U.S. Army, where his duties took him worldwide with unique assignments at the White House, the Pentagon, and the United Nations. 

Don has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Western Illinois University, a Masters in Business Administration from Brenau University, and additional graduate work with Central Michigan University.

He is an adjunct faculty member of Lakeland University, where he teaches subjects at both the Graduate and Undergraduate level in Organizational Development, Business Operations, Leadership, Human Resources, Labor Relations, and Employment Law. He previously taught Graduate and Undergraduate courses at Marian University in Leadership, Organizational Development, and Human Resources.

Don Serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Community Benefit Tree, not-for-profit supporting individuals experiencing financial distress due to medical crisis.

Don is professionally certified as a Society for Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), Green Belt in Six Sigma, and a Master Certified Professional Coach (MCPC).
